  • This program provides assistance to public facilities in the state only. Compensation to individuals, private groups and businesses is not provided.
  • 1978 marked the last event in which assistance was fully funded by the federal government. Since then, 75% of the effort has been federally funded. While initially taking 25% of the burden, in 1993 the state's share dropped to 15% and local governments have contributed the remaining 10%.
