SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Maine Principals
Association supervises interscholastic sports. Schools compete in
"classes" A, B, C, and D depending on their size.
In preliminary
competition, most sports are divided into "Eastern" and
"Western" divisions. The state champions in these cases are the
winning division teams in the final East-West competition.
