Information about Maine's history, government, economy, geography, and culture should be accessible to a broad range of people in an uncomplicated, yet accurate format.

That is the goal of this publication.

Unlike similar printed undertakings, thanks to digital technology, this one will grow and improve each year with annual editions covering more topics and recent events.  You can be the source of that improvement by suggesting new articles, additional information for current articles, or corrections to errors.  You may even be inclined to provide carefully researched text and images yourself.  Let us know!
