Publius is a consulting and research firm with extensive experience in Maine, New England, and the Internet information environment.

Principal Dr. James Henderson holds a Ph. D. in government and politics, has served in local and State government, including the Maine Legislature and the Secretary of State's Office.

Long-term planning focuses on achieving agreed goals and objectives. Strategic planning aims at establishing realistic goals and objectives based on an assessment of institutional strengths and weaknesses, and on environmental threats and opportunities.  From that analysis, strategies and programs are developed.

Managing, storing, migrating, and providing long-term access to computer files (text, photos, videos, databases, GIS layers, etc.) requires careful planning and a clear commitment of time and resources in advance of the needed access for business, legal (discovery, regulatory compliance), or other reasons.  See related documents.
